Clothing

Wedding day: Dress code is smart, come dressed in your best. We suggest a jacket or shawl for outdoor wear as it is likely to get chilly at night. There are some cracks and cobbles so heel-wearers beware.

For the 26th the dress code is casual. Don’t forget to bring swimwear if you plan to use the sea, pools or spa.

Hotel and surroundings

Historic Bailiffscourt offers a number of lounges perfect for chilling and socialising. The hotel is made up of a collection of charming ancient buildings within its beautiful grounds. The nearby 17th century Black Horse Inn is also part of the Hotel.

The Hotel has a separate Spa building within its grounds including treatment rooms, free to use indoor and outdoor heated pools and jacuzzis plus sauna and steam rooms.   Tennis and croquet are also available for the athletically inclined.

The pebble “beach” and sea are only a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and the water will likely still be warm enough to swim in come September.
